Meet The Staff
Teresa M. Girolami, M.D.
Dr. Girolami is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing primary care medicine for twenty years on the Eastside as well as working with village clinics in Mexico. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, medical degree from New York Medical College and subsequently completed her residency at the University of Illinois Mercy Hospital. Dr. Girolami is on the staff at both Overlake and Evergreen Hospitals, a current delegate of the King County Medical Society, and member of the Washington State Medical Association.
She is co-founder of Sound Health Solutions, a medical weight management program, and is a frequent national speaker on the topic of weight management. Dr. Girolami has often appeared on KING TV, KOMO TV and has published numerous medical articles and white papers.
Dr. Girolami is a local Washingtonian and Eastsider, married with three children, and an avid sports enthusiast, including being a nationally ranked squash player
Cheryl A. Allen, ARNP
Raised in Texas, Cheryl is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and Seattle University. She was a high-risk obstetric nurse for ten years at the University of Washington Hospital before returning to school to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner education. Cheryl has over 15 years of experience in primary care medicine and is also experienced in burn care. She is an avid reader and a huge football fan, including high school, college and professional football.
